I Wonder

I could be wrong about this. I think I should type it up here and let others assess and give me some input. I texted my girlfriend this afternoon, and she replied with a pleasantry. Then I asked her how her day was. She replies an hour later with "Sorry I didn't mean to ignore you. Let's text later so I can devote more attention to texting you". Honestly I felt hurt, but I said "Okay". Then I go on facebook because I didn't have much else to do, and I hate boredom. I see that she has updated her status. Apparently she has time to post a location update, but she has no time to text small talk with me. As someone who had high hopes for this relationship, and someone who has been hurt too much in the past, I am just done. If I find out she is cheating on me, there is no going back. She and I can never reconcile, never be friends, and never even be in the same location without a bitter resentment towards her. And while I would hope she isn't cheating on me, the nagging back of my brain is screaming at me that she is. If she doesn't have time for me, I can understand. But I will move on from that if it is the case. You shouldn't make a relationship when you don't have the time or the capacity to devote yourself to another human being and share lives.

Peace be with you all, comments that are helpful and relevant will be accepted graciously. Blessed Be.

First Post

Today isn't so bad. I like to view things in comparison to the world. I don't live in the Congo, so I am very fortunate. It doesn't mean America is a box of chocolates though! Anyway, I wanted to post and talk about a common problem with women today. We take offense to the word "BITCH". We shouldn't. Let's examine just what it means to be a BITCH. BITCH stands for Beautiful, Intelligent, Tenacious, Creative, and Honest. Not bad! Let's continue! BITCH in our society is a symbol of a woman who will not be stepped on, who will be herself regardless of what others think of her, who will stand up for what is right in the face of persecution, who will always be honest about who she is and what she feels, and who will always smile and thank the person who called her "BITCH". I personally embrace it. If I call you a Bitch, it is indeed a compliment. If I were to call you a soulless harpie with a case of herpes, well now that would mean exactly what I said. If I call you a moron, it's best you walk away in shame and read a couple books. I don't use any of the above three terms lightly at all. You will earn them. Just like you earn someone's respect.

I feel like I've enlightened everyone on something today. Please take it with you and use it in a positive, constructive way to make the world better and see yourself in a brand new beautiful light. Blessed Be.
